During my stay at a friend's house in Portugal on October 7, 2023, I received the news about the outbreak of war in Israel. 'Alone in the World' is a take on a comic I created earlier in 2023, titled 'Alone in Berlin.' It describes how I felt being away during such a time and some events that occurred after my return.
